Claudius 2 Gothicus better known as Claudius was the cruel king of Roman Empire in 3rd century. He gets involved into war without any reason and always abused his people. In one word he was a very harsh leader. He was involved in so many wars; it was practically become impossible to get enough soldiers in his troop. Having scratched the truth behind this soldier scarcity he found that people of Rome were not ready to be recruited in his army because roman men are reluctant to leave their loved one or family behind. So he put an order to band marriages and love engagement in his country .Thousands of youth saw their marriage-ships were sinking by a single order of an autocrat. But no one had enough carriage to stand against this order.

But a courageous soul named St. Valentine came forward and stood up against the order and put his view in favour of love. Before the soldiers went to war St.Valentine started to organise various secret marriage ceremony which got postponed or who were willing to marry.

But unfortunately, in 269 a.d. that secret was revealed by the king Claudius and immediately gave death sentence to St.Valentine.

During his jail tenure he fell into love with the daughter of the jailor and incidentally she was blind by birth.
Valentine does not know how to write in Braille and even no writing instrument was available in jail. Valentine send a card to his love writing a sonate squees on violence coupled with love strings. It has been said that while opening the card that girl suddenly started seeing which resembled the power of love. The very next day the Valentine was put on death.

St Valentine did not bother to scarifies his life for the sake of his love. He was sentenced death just because he wanted that young couples could able to tie their knot with their loved ones against the order of their king. Roman emperor killed St Valentine but his spirit of love still alive and will alive until the last day of this universe .
