Distribution of Aids & Appliances for Differently Abled:
In its quest to equip persons with disability and support them with modern technological devices thus enabling them to combat their challenge, Turnstone Global distributes aids and appliances such as I-Pods, CD-Players, Smart Canes and so on. Annually, on an average, approximately 200 beneficiaries are provided with such devices.

Among the beneficiaries suffering from hearing impairment, a number of persons belong to the category whose hearing can be improved with the help of assistive device, the “Hearing Aid” in this case. Thus, with support from Give India, Turnstone Global provides free hearing aid to underprivileged persons. However, owing to paucity of funds, we are not able to fulfil such needs among all our beneficiaries. Hence, we are looking for other source of fund so that we are able to serve all our existing beneficiaries who require hearing aid.

Recently, Turnstone Global tied up with ALIMCO to organise camps for distribution of prosthetic aids and appliances in Eastern India including the North East. This tie up will enable both Turnstone Global and ALIMCO to serve a large number of beneficiaries in this region.
